Earlier this summer, State of Belief spoke with Michael Rosenzweig from the National Museum of American Jewish History about the museum’s exhibit Only in America, a permanent exhibit about influential Jewish Americans. What made this particular exhibit special was that anyone could vote for who should be included. An American Idol of sorts for American Jews. Well, the season finale so to speak is upon us and the votes have been tallied! The 18 honorees selected are a diverse bunch – from Estee Lauder to Golda Mier; Sandy Koufax to Jonas Salk.
