The “Day of the Dead,” which is observed universally in Mexico but has grown increasingly popular elsewhere, commemorates the lives of loved ones who have passed with joyous festivities and traditions. Although the holiday is usually framed in cultural Christianity, it’s growing among secular communities, and Victoria de la Torre, Secular celebrant and co-founder of Day of the Dead Secular, will sit down with Welton to explore this inclusive step for the November 2nd event.
