In response to the horrific treatment of migrants at our southern border and xenophobic policies endangering thousands of families fleeing unimaginable violence, a growing numbers of religious communities have stepped up to protect and defend migrants and asylum seekers. These leaders and laypeople alike are taking action and drawing inspiration from their faith. One such organization is Faith in Public Life, a national network of faith leaders united in the prophetic pursuit of justice. Welton will hear from John Gehring, Catholic Program Director at Faith in Public Life, about the rising activism bolstering in support of migrants.
