Kylar Broadus, a practicing attorney and professor of law at Lincoln University of Missouri, became the first openly transgender person to testify before the U.S. Senate this week when he spoke in support of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) at a Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor & Pensions hearing this past week.
