Last month, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a key provision of the 1965 Voting Rights Act and the following day, the court declared portions of the anti-gay Defense of Marriage Act unconstitutional. While the rulings have been handed down by the high court, the battle over these issues is far from over. Joining Welton on the show this week are two Unitarian Universalist pastors who have joined together in a recommitment to the shared struggle for justice across different groups after the Supreme Court decisions: the Rev. Rosemary Bray McNatt and the Rev. Meg Riley. Also, be sure to read Rev. McNatt’s and Rev. Riley’s recent Huffington Post piece “Justice is Justice.” CLICK HERE FOR EXTENDED INTERVIEW VIDEO AND TRANSCRIPT
