Last weekend, observing the 54th anniversary of the infamous “Bloody Sunday,” a diverse group of prominent leaders, religious and otherwise, made a pilgrimage to Selma, Alabama. Rabbi Jack Moline, president of Interfaith Alliance, was among the leaders who joined Congressman John Lewis on the Edmund Pettus Bridge through an event organized by the Faith & Politics Institute. Rabbi Moline will join Welton this week to share the highlights of this memorable pilgrimage and how the events on the bridge more than 50 years ago have become even more relevant in recent years.
